At a young age, Izidoria Araujo watched as her father writhed in pain for 23 hours, ready to get clinical care for kidney stones at a small rural clinic in Brazil.

Organized by the University of Medicine’s Business of Variety, Fairness and Inclusion, the 7 days-long summer months academy assisted learners chart their profession paths to health care professions.
